New Sony PS3 Smaller Size, Larger Storage, Tiny Price. 120gb

In Germany, Sony video game exec Kaz Hirai today unveiled a new slimmer version of the Playtstation 3. The new, 120GB version will have the same features as the previous version, but will be 33% smaller and 36% lighter. The price will be lighter as well: $299, down from $399 for the previous version. Hirai said the release date for the new hardware will vary by region, but that the new version will be available everywhere by September 1.

Sony is sure to make some $ this holiday season!
